How much does it cost to register as a temp?
It's completely free! Temps can create profiles, upload photos and credentials, and be discovered by clients at no cost. Optional Premium Visibility is available for $9.99/month to boost your profile to the top of search results.
How much does the subscription cost for clients?
$12.99/month - One simple plan that includes everything: browse all temp profiles, view full bios, unlimited messaging, unlimited Zoom meeting requests, advanced filters (distance, certifications, languages), saved searches, analytics dashboard, and more. Cancel anytime.
How are temps verified?
All temp profiles are reviewed by our admin team. Temps upload credentials including background checks, CPR/First Aid certifications, education certificates, and references. Profiles with verification scores of 70+ are auto-approved. Others are manually reviewed within 24-48 hours.
How does payment work?
Payment is arranged directly between clients and temps. Our platform facilitates connections, but we don't process payments. Clients and temps agree on rates and payment methods (cash, Venmo, Zelle, checks, etc.) independently.
Can I request a Zoom meeting before booking?
Yes! All subscribers get unlimited Zoom meeting requests with temps to interview them before booking. Temps will receive your request and can coordinate meeting times with you.
What happens if I need to cancel a booking?
Both clients and temps can cancel bookings through the platform. We recommend clear communication and following your agreed-upon cancellation policy. Since payment is handled directly between parties, refunds are also managed directly.
Can temps apply to job postings?
Yes! Premium temps ($9.99/month) have access to our job board where clients post both temporary and permanent opportunities. Free temp profiles are visible to clients who can contact them directly, but job board access is a premium feature. Upgrade to premium to browse and apply to exclusive job postings for both short-term and long-term positions.
Is there a mobile app?
Currently, Childcare Temps is a web-based platform optimized for both desktop and mobile browsers. You can access all features from any device with an internet connection. A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap!
